According to DailyCandy Chicago a new store called GuiseChic is opening in Lincoln Park tomorrow. Brad Habansky, the owner of Guise, collaborated with two women, Heidi Taylor and Jodi Immel, to open the co-ed boutique and salon. Helmut Lang, Maharishi and Theory are just a few of the labels they carry.

chocolate-pencils by Oki Sato and Iron Chef Champion Tsujiguchi Hironobu

I love this. Another brilliant idea from Oki Sato who collaborated with Tsujiguchi Hironobu. chocolate-pencils are made of gourmet chocolate and the set includes a pencil sharpener to sprinkle chocolate shavings over your dessert. As it states on the website: "Pencil filings are usually the unwanted remains of sharpening a pencil, but in this case, they're the star!"

1% - one percent products by Oki Sato

Amazing products designed by Oki Sato. The collection is called 1% because each product is produced in limited batches of 100.

hie-hie is a set of glasses that make any liquid contained within, look eternally chilled because of a frosted surface treatment.






































vase-vase consists of two vases framed and held together by wire. It is meant to fool the viewer into thinking that it is actually a mirror reflection. To disrupt the illusion, place a flower in one vase and keep the other empty or place a different flower in each vase. Wonderful!
